Chartered accountancy is a professional degree course which offers huge scope for the aspirants. After becoming a CA, a person can choose to either be employed with a firm as an employee or they can choose to open their own private practice. The CA (Chartered Accountant) is one of the respectful and challenging career fields. CA is a good option for higher education in India. Chartered accountancy was established in 1854 in Britain. It is the core activity of the business. In India, the CA course is conducted by the ICAI (Indian Chartered Accountants Institute).
CA Exam consist of three level Namely - CA CPT, Intermediate and Final. Candidates have to pass their Intermediate (10+2 Standard) for CA CPT(Common Proficiency Test). The candidates who have completed bachelor or masters degree in commerce with a percentile of 55% marks were exempted from appearing in CA CPT. After clearing Intermediate level student can go for Final level.
Every year CPT examination will be conducted in the month of JUNE/DECEMBER. Applicants who have already registered themselves on or before April 2020 will be eligible to appear in the June CPT examination and those applicants who will register on or before October 2020 will be eligible to appear in December CPT examination. Applicants need to go to the ICAI website of CPT for online registration.
